Robin Mills ARPS :: Fine Art Photography

Pulpit Rock, Portland, Dorset

Often photographed, this stack of rock tempts the intrepid photographer trying to get that wave crashing over it. How many cameras have perished in the salt spray, I wonder. I sat and waited until 10.00 pm. one quiet summer evening, slowing the shutter speed to calm the gentle waves, and finding a wonderful coincidence in the horizon, with rock and sea on the same plane. There can be few better ways to pass the time.
