Stair Hole, Lulworth, Dorset

Dorset's coast, now dedicated "the Jurassic Coast", cannot fail to amaze even the geologically disinterested. The limestone strata, shoved and tilted into this piece of abstract form like a mint humbug, is bizarre and beautiful. The thin high clouds echo the shapes in the rocks.
