Loders Churchyard, Dorset

In common with many country churches, Loders allows part of their beautiful churchyard to grow long, encouraging the flowers and grasses to become a rich habitat for wildlife. This has always seemed to me entirely appropriate in graveyards, given their main function. Silvery light on summer grasses, and one can almost smell the pollen and hear the insects.
